In addition to traffic there are several amazing benefits article writing showers on both the author and the website. Webmasters who are aware of this are Mining Gold in the Internet.
1. Increase in Link Popularity.
Writing articles with your URL embedded in the Resource Box and publishing them in Article Directories is the quickest way of obtaining one-way inbound links. When these articles are in turn picked up and published by other webmasters there will soon be a viral effect thus increasing the one-way inbound links pointing towards your website, which in turn will increase your link popularity.

As more and more of your Keyword rich and Optimized articles are published by theme related quality websites, your link popularity will increase thereby increasing the search engine ranking of your website. It will not take long before search engines; especially Google will take notice of your website and place it at the top of the search results for your chosen keyword.
3. Targeted Traffic.
The website visitors these links in the Resource Boxes of the articles generate are all without doubt targeted traffic. These visitors visit you only after reading your article and are interested in learning more about you and your products. The more the number of articles the more targeted traffic you will get.

One of the best free advertising tools in the Internet for Webmasters is the Resource Box of an article. Authoritative articles written on the field of your expertise with a striking and captivating resource box can in a subtle manner advertise you and your products bringing in a flood of traffic.

postheadericon Writing Articles Doesn’t Work!

If you’ve been on the web for any length of time I’m sure you’ve seen the headlines on websites or in your email inbox stating things like, “Writing Articles is the Best Way to promote your website and get laser targeted traffic to your site” or “If your not writing articles to promote your site there’s something wrong with you” and my favorite “Writing Articles is Free and only requires a bit of time to Write Them”. My response to these statements is, “HOGWASH”
Like most of us on a limited budget I set about the task of writing articles. I spent hours upon hours writing and submitting articles to every directory I could find. After several months I concluded there was something very very wrong.
My taffic had not increased, I had not built a list of thousands of subscribers and I was no better off financialy since my affiliate links were not bringing me any sales.
So I gave up and decided those headlines I’d read were internet hype and not having any experience at writing and I’d been duped into believing that this form of marketing was a valid one.
But…
…what I was about to discover would turn my article writing upside down and change the way I would approach my article writing forever.
First I learned my articles didn’t have great titles: They did little to make the reader want to even read the article.
Second, My article didn’t flow well. The reader would never finish the article get to the bio box and never get to my site.
Third, The article gave way too much information and gave the reader no incentive to look for more information, never getting to the bio box, never getting to my site.
These are just a few of the mistakes I had been making consequently causing my article marketing efforts to fail.
The above article was written in just under 20 minutes including research. The techniques used to write this article were a direct result of the information recieved from Andrew Hansen’s Article Speed Writing ebook.
Because of this information my article writing has taken a definite upward turn and I cannot Thank Andrew enough!

postheadericon Writing Up Sizzling Sales Copy That Converts Even The Fussiest Prospects Into Customers

In this article we outline the key points that you MUST incorporate into every sales letter you wield. These four factors really will make or break your sales page. Then we’ll discuss some hard-hitting sales letter tactics that I’ve used myself with explosive results. Unlike other scams these tactics actually add value to your package while increasing your credibility.
First, why even bother writing good sales copy?
Well, in an online world where your prospects are already wandering around in a state of confusion and mistrust, your sales copy is the one chance you have of establishing credibility, building trust and convincing your prospect that your product can solve the very problems that torture them day in, day out.
We Start With The Basics – AIDA
Attention
Interest
Desire
Action
It’s absolutely crucial that all your sales pages contain this powerful mix.
Attention – Your Title Can Turn Off Your Prospects Before They Even Read A Word Of Your Actual Sales Letter.
Your headline MUST create attention in your prospects minds. Get into your prospects head and ask yourself this important question:
“What is the most important BENEFIT that can solve the biggest PROBLEM/HURT that my prospect faces.”
Then put this into your sales letter headline. You need to create serious waves here – the headline must draw your prospect into the main body of your sales letter. A good headline gets them there.
Interest – Is Your Sales Letter The Life & Soul Of The Party?
Do you like talking to the dim-witted dullard at the party? What about the chattering fool who yaps away endlessly about himself? No. Neither then does your prospect want to spend time with a sales letter that’s either lacking any emotion or (going completely the other way) stuffed to the brim with pointless fluff.
To create interest in your prospects, you need to understand your products benefits and their own concerns. You need to understand your industry and what your product has that your competitors don’t. Like a devilish murder mystery novel, each paragraph must be more exciting than the last.
As interest builds, so your chance of capturing the sale increases.
Desire – Make Them Almost Taste The Benefits & Then Make Them DESPERATE To Get It!
To create desire, you’ve got to convey the BENEFITS of your package. Go ahead and tell the prospect what they will gain when they click on the order button. What about the pain they’ll avoid? Time saved? These are things that people look for before spending their hard earned cash, and they want to know that your product delivers.
Action – The Last, All Important Word
You’ve got to urge your prospects to take action NOW. Make the order button prolific and readily available. If your product has limited availability or is a (genuine) special offer, then let your prospects know about it.
AIDA is a simple yet powerful guideline of setting up sales letters that do what they’re supposed to – convert targeted prospects into customers. Now let’s look at some advanced tactics. These, when incorporated skilfully into an AIDA based sales letter have the potential of driving your response rates through the roof.
Beyond AIDA – Strategies To Maximise Your Sales Letter Responses
I could have settled with just using AIDA to create my sales letters, and I’m sure I would have continued to do well. But would I have achieved some of the OUTSTANDING results I’ve enjoyed in more recent years? Almost certainly NOT.
Now, I’ll walk you through some legitimate tactics that I use to make my sales letters hyper-responsive. The great thing about most of these is that they benefit the CUSTOMER too – and ultimately that’s the best way of increasing your sales in the long run.
Tactic Number ONE – Limit The Number Of Licences Offered (Digital Products)
If your product is digital (eg an eBook or membership site) then consider placing a limit on the number of licences available. This benefits you as the information developer because it creates genuine urgency to purchase. If customers miss out, they’ll have to pay a higher price to get in and that’s a powerful motivator. The benefit to the customer is that the limited number of licences means they have a better chance of success if they use the private label rights content/videos etc provided.
There’s of course also a downside to you on this – limited licences mean that once your product gets to higher levels, the natural forces of price vs demand means that you’ll sell less when the product price moves up. Even so, I can tell you I put a licence limit on many of my products and it creates a frenzy of sales as people try and get in at the lowest price levels. It’s a potent order trigger.
Tactic Number TWO – Pile On The QUALITY Bonuses!
It’s true – both the number of bonuses and their respective quality can really be the “title clincher”. A platter of highly targeted bonuses that are in demand can be enough to get your prospect to buy immediately.
You can even implement the following tactics with your bonuses:
- Fast action bonuses where (for example) the first 50 people to order get a bonus that everyone else doen’t.
- Time limited bonuses – where the bonuses only apply for a certain length of time or number of orders.
Make your bonus graphics visible on your sales page and if possible link to the full sales page of each bonus. If you produce many products, avoid serving up the same tired old bonuses – it can count against you as your existing customers may begin to feel they’re missing out on the bonus experience and your repeat sales may actually suffer.
Tactic Number THREE – Free Updates For LIFE!
Customers love paying for something ONCE and getting additional value from that purchase for months and even years into the future. That’s just plain common sense, yet the vast majority of digital products that I see being offered online do not come with updates of any sort.
The beauty of this model is that as you add more and more content/resources/ related to your package it becomes increasingly attractive to new prospects. The icing on the cake is that your existing customers are delighted and that establishes further trust and credibility and that’s a very big plus.
So there you have it – a summary of writing sales pages that sell and additional sales-letter tactics that genuinely increase the credibility, value and pure WOW-factor of your packages.

postheadericon Yahoo Stores And Yahoo Site Builder

About a year ago I watched an excellent tutorial about putting together a yahoo store. I really wanted to step into the E-commerce marketplace and start selling some goods online. I decided to go with Yahoo because they have a very good reputation and take a lot of the headache of research away from the store building process. For example, buying a shopping cart, programming that cart and then trying to figure out most of their complexities is not an issue with the yahoo store front system. The cart is built in and you do not have to buy one nor spend an additional monthly expense. I like simple and this was a huge head start.
The biggest answer about the yahoo system came to me when I was talking to Tech support one day. The key to building a E-commerce store at yahoo is knowing that there are two ways of doing it. This was not made very clear or perhaps my denseness did not pick it up right away. You can build a yahoo store using the templates in the yahoo system and have a straight forward store system. You can also build the store and then go back and use Yahoo site builder to build a regular website with a store feature. The store feature then becomes the backend management system for your website and it allows you to manage your inventory. So what does this mean? Well I wanted to put a lot of content on my site as well as sell products. By having a huge content system, I build up authority in the eyes of Google. So I built a site that had a big article section, a directions section as well as a linking section and all the other goodies you want. I wanted the ability to have some multimedia and do some testing and experimenting with some unique content that you cannot do with a straight up storefront.
So here is what I did. I set up my Yahoo store first. I wrote out all the sections and then the items that went into each section and categorized them. I uploaded all my product pictures and text into the storefront. I did not deviate from the standard template nor did I customize the look of my store since it will not be seen by the customer. I basically just programmed all the product codes. Then I fired up Site Builder and built the site. I took the time to make the homepage look great and link all the pages in the ways that I want them to link. I added my content pages and made sure the site was tagged and optimized for my key words. Then when I was finished I went back to the yahoo store editor and copied the “order button” html code for each product and inserted it into its appropriate page. This order button is how the site is connected to the store. Now the customer can order the products you carry and still have the benefit of a website that has lots of contents and a good FAQ section.
You don’t have to use site builder to build your site. If you like Frontpage or Dream weaver those programs work well too. The key is just insert the html code from the products into your site. This is really where the light came on for me.

postheadericon You Can Do It All At Hubpages

In the summer of 2006, a new social web site was introduced to the world and it’s popularity has been increasing rapidly. HubPages, as it is known, burst onto the scene and it ushered in a new avenue for everyone from web surfers to internet marketers. The creators of HubPages had the online marketing professionals in mind when the site was being prepared for release. Increased web site traffic for online businesses was a key goal for the owners of HubPages and not only have they delivered, these intuitive entrepreneurs have succeeded with stunning precision. For the online business owner, HubPages is a marketing dream come true, especially for the novice owner who has a limited budget. In fact, members are highly encouraged to create income generating sites through HubPages and the best part – this service is absolutely free to use.

postheadericon You Can Get Paid To Take Surveys – But Can You Really Make Money At It?

With all of the paid survey activity on the Internet, it is easy to get paid to take surveys. More than 700 survey makers offer paid online surveys in the U.S. alone. Almost all of these are looking for more survey participants. Internationally you can get paid to take surveys made by over 3,000 different survey makers.
The challenge is not just to get paid to take surveys – that’s easy. The challenge is to find the legitimate paid surveys that pay well, avoid the time-wasters that don’t, and make money at it.
80% of the money is made through 20% of the survey makers and their surveys. From the point of view of those who want to really get paid to take surveys and make money in doing so, only about 1 in every 5 survey makers is truly worth dealing with. Another 40% are marginal, and about 40% are time wasters, to be avoided.
The key to making money with online paid surveys is in the list of survey makers that you sign up with as a prospective survey taker. You might think that it would be easy to get such a list, but it’s not. The survey makers that pay poorly or not at all are constantly losing participants and must recruit new ones.
They pay recruiting fees to anyone who can bring them “fresh meat”, new participants that don’t yet know the ropes. These high recruiting fees mean that anytime you go to look for survey makers on the Net, you will be inundated by offers for “free lists” and ads recruiting survey participants.
Almost all of the offers and ads you will see will be recruiting for the survey makers that don’t pay or don’t pay well. They are trying to fill recent vacancies left by participants who were expecting to get paid to take online surveys, were not paid, were disappointed, and quit.
You generally won’t find good lists where the survey makers are paying the list purveyors to recruit you.
But you can find a good list, one that will help you really get paid to take surveys, with one of those paid survey membership sites that maintain lists for their members. For a smallish membership fee they will share their list with you. You pay, so the guide will take you where YOU want to go.
When choosing your paid survey membership site, look for two things: 1. A very strong money-back guarantee, backed up by a financial company or bank. 2. A low refund rate under that guarantee. The guarantee means that the site stands behind its service; you like their service or it costs you nothing.
The low refund rate means that the current members like the service there and feel that they got full value for their small investment. You will want to join a group like that.
A high refund rate means many unhappy clients demanding their money back. This is a group you will want to avoid becoming part of.
There are sources of information on paid online surveys that can help you to really get paid to take surveys. You can start with a good, objective, paid survey review site like that cited below, for more explanation and information.

postheadericon You Can Market Your Online Business Yourself

Online business is indeed a lucrative means through which you can make a comfortable living. Infact, thousands have in recent years lived exclusively on the lucrative proceeds from internet marketing. Those who have decoded the nitty-gritty of the trade have either attained financial freedom or are on their way to reaching that threshold. It gives at the very least the opportunity to design your life the way you wish with hardly anyone looking over your shoulder to order you about.
One of the peculiar joys of the Internet marketing trade is that it puts you in charge literally of your destiny. You get what you input into your business since the internet has virtually democratized the business environment to a significant extent. So while you may engage a professional marketing outfit to handle your marketing chores, you equally have an option of doing your own thing yourself. And this may give you a better sense of personal fulfillment.
Should you decide to personally market your online business, you would have to consider a number of factors. Would you have the knowledge, skill, time and commitment to see through your marketing campaigns? However, personal marketing would give your business a particular identity; your identity, which would make it different from other online businesses thereby enhancing definitive choices by customers.
The trick is to start simple. There are a number of cost effective methods and practices through which you can go about marketing your business to steady success. One simple way is to include email signature lines in all messages you send out to friends and associates. Email Signatures simply contain your website address which others may see, visit and become interested in buying from you. It would be more effective where you have a separate email address from your official or work place email account. When used in personal correspondences, it works wonders and you can hardly be accused of spamming since it is only a signature line and not an overt advertisement.
Closely following on this is email marketing. This has been a veritable tool for effective marketing of products with very wonderful and rewarding results. This simple method allows you to alert customers to the availability of new products, lucrative offers and changes to established businesses. Infact, I know a number of very successful Internet Marketers who use this method almost exclusively and they have several successful sites to show for it. However, great care must be taken to avoid spam as you go about using email marketing to promote your business.
Another method you can use to enhance the visibility of your site is the submission of your website to Search Engines and Directories. This may involve some financial costs to you but there are equally some free submission services around that are effective as well. When submitting to directories, care must be take n to submit to those that are relevant to your niche and will therefore enhance your chances of being noticed by prospective customers. There are some relatively cheap softwares that you can use to make your submissions more efficient and less time consuming.
Similarly, you can find some complimentary sites with which you can arrange reciprocal linking. Thus, the more sites you have this arrangement with, the greater visibility or traffic your own site gets.
Where you have a reasonable budget, a pay-per-click campaign could also be considered. In other words, you can bid for some of the low-cost keywords in your niche with any of the major search engines for faster results. However, you must learn the basics before venturing into this highly competitive area.
There are also other marketing methods such as blogging, which is taking the industry by storm considering the profits that have been made through this method; Classified ads in local business magazines as well as erection of medium -sized boards in your immediate environment. A mention must be made of the free- for-all web sites which enable you to post all your ads free even though some have expressed doubt as to their effectiveness.
Whatever method you finally chose to personally promote your online business will depend on your personal preferences based on the results that you are able to get from any or some of them. However, there is this joy and personal fulfillment that you get from running your own business yourself from wherever you chose and at the times that you prescribe.

postheadericon You Can’t Make Money On Ebay

That’s right, you can’t make money on eBay until you learn the secrets of selling on eBay. When it comes to making money from home, one of the first places that people turn to is eBay. The only problem is that to make money on eBay, you must be a successful seller. There are a number of steps that you can take to become that successful eBay seller.
If you have ever dreamed of having an internet business, ebay has to be one of the easiest ways of achieving your dream. There is a lot to be learned and you won’t achieve success overnight. However, through hard work and determination you will make that dream come true to become a successful ebay seller.
Okay, here’s the thing about selling on eBay. It’s true, you can very easily start your own home-based eBay business with very little money and nothing more than a garage full of things you no longer want. But wait… Just how much money are you going to make, based on the amount of time you have to invest to create your auctions and the cost to ship them. Is it going to be $5 a hour, $20 a hour or $50 a hour.
If all you want to do is to empty out the garage and or basement and make a couple of hundred dollars that’s fine but if you want to develop an ongoing full or part time eBay business then you have better have a good understanding of what you are getting yourself into. Don’t think you can drop ship your way to some six-figure income either. I’m not saying it can’t be done but it won’t happen by hooking up with some drop shipper and start selling the same items that a hundred other sellers are selling.
You need to learn what sells and for how much, how to find a niche where there is less competition, learn how to make money on the back end of your sales, how to stay in touch with your customers to keep them coming back every week without spamming them.
Make sure you take advantage of every tool ebay gives you. Do you know what one of the most valuable tools ebay gives you and how to use it? It’s the About Me page. This is the only page on ebay that you can really call your own. This page can set you apart from your competition. Use it…
One last thing. Remember you are in business to make money. It is very easy to sell something on ebay if you have the lowest price. But are you making a profit selling at the lowest price? Most ebay buyers are very smart and will pick you clean if you are giving your stuff away. They will end up with a great deal and you will end up with no money in your pocket.

postheadericon You Don’t Need Loads Of Cash To Start A Business

How many are held back from becoming successful entrepreneurs simply because of the mistaken belief that they could never afford to start their own business? The truth of the matter is startlingly simple: you don’t need loads of cash to start a business! What you do need are the drive to get started, the enthusiasm to find artful solutions to problems that will present themselves early on, and the commitment to not let problems that others throw money at stop you from living your dream.
For example, if you want to become a dog groomer, you don’t need loads of cash to start that business. You need to know how to groom dogs. Without this skill, no amount of money will allow you to make any headway into the dog grooming market. In a very real sense, you need to become a “guru” – a person to whom others come to answers to their dog grooming questions.
Once you have found your niche and educated yourself – via classes, books, the Internet, or just personal hands-on training – it is time to figure out where to conduct your dog grooming. Normally you would need to have a lot of money to rent a shop and equip it, but since commercial real estate leases are out of this world, you will want to do without it, at least until you have earned enough money to comfortably buy or lease a space of your choice. Proving that you do not need loads of cash to start a business, consider that you can work out of the back of your van, SUV, or at the client’s home. You will own the tools of the trade, but the client will furnish the water, the bathing facilities, the electricity, and you do not even need specialized insurance!
Now that you have the what, how and where worked out, advertisement is the final major expenditure for new businesses. Fortunately, there are several cheap or free ways of getting targeted advertising without having to dip into your nest egg. Build a great relationship with those who deal with dogs every day. This includes the vet, the humane society, the pet store, and any other place dogs and dog owners will congregate. Ask to place nicely done color brochures – you can do them for next to nothing on your computer – in their offices, and in return promise you will place their names and phone numbers on your ads. Do some community events for free, such as the yearly humane society fund raisers where you can be highly visible turning little matted hounds into stylish pets anyone is eager to take home.
As you can see, from this example of a dog groomer you can quite easily extrapolate that you don’t need loads of cash to start a business, and whether you want to be a dog groomer, typist, writer, copying service, or dry cleaner, there is a way unique to any profession that will lead you to entrepreneurship on a shoestring budget – if you only have the will!

postheadericon You Must Work Hard To Be Rich-myth Or Truth?

‘One of the most common myths about getting rich or achieving financial success is that working hard is the key to create wealth,’ declared Jamie McIntyre. Jamie is a very much sought after personal development coach and has traveled all over the world meeting and learning from some of the best teachers in this world including the, Anthony Robbins, General Norman Schwarzkopf and Robert Kiyosaki.

He further insisted that, ‘working hard and making money have nothing in common, I repeat, nothing to do with each other in this modern time.’ Why is this man making such very powerful but controversial statements? Well, he backed up his statements with the following explanation. He uses his dad, a farmer as an example.

His father started off with nothing but is a millionaire now. This man, like most framers, believes that true hard work is the key to success and that was how he became a millionaire. He believed that this is the truth to wealth creation.

Jamie explained to his dad that hard work did not guarantee or actually play a major role in his dad’s wealth. In fact it is a myth. His dad is a wealthy today because of the appreciation of value on his farm land property. The farm is now worth more that a million bucks when his bought it decades ago at a mere $50,000 dollars. Despite the fact that his dad was truly working hard on the farm for many years, this did not make the farmer wealthy. Income from the farm has actually dipped badly and the man would never save a million dollars from his farm’s income even if he worked hard on it for several lifetimes.

His father’s wealth was created by buying the farmland property at a low price and the increasing value of the land over a period of time. Anyone who have read Robert Kiyosaki’s ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’book will find this theory familiar.

His father’s wealth was amassed even when he was sleeping and almost without any effort at all. It is true that good work ethic and some hard work in the beginning helped but the most important feature was the investing of his money on the property and letting his money work for him.

Then Jamie went on to use his mother as another example. His mother had always wanted to open a coffee shop. She did not realize that many years later, she was offered to buy the entire building in which the coffee shop was located.

However she did not buy it because she had already borrowed a lot of money for the coffee shop business and did not like the idea of borrowing anymore money. She was being mistakenly prudent.

She worked very hard for many many years, often not paying herself a salary (another big mistake, as another rule for wealth creation is to always pay yourself first). She often worked hard to pay the shop’s rental. She was working real hard but with a miserable return for the investment and labor.

You see,if she only she had borrowed another $100,000 for the building, she could have:-

a) Charged her coffee shop business a higher rent since the money still comes back to her. Even if her business only managed to pay the rent, it could be used to return the borrowed money.

b) The building would appreciate in value over time making her a lot of money without working and plus her charging a higher rental, it automatically make the building even more valuable.

c) She can sell away her coffee shop business and kept the building profiting from the sale of her business and then have the new tenants paying her rentals for the shop. Now she need not work to have a steady flow of passive income.

d) If she still wants to work, she could work part time for the new owner and then picking up another income stream. The truth is that so many streams of passive income now, his mother could be rich without working hard.

So,in order to be rich you must work hard,is a truth or a myth? Find out for yourself as Jamie is giving away his free financial wealth planning ebook at my blog below.
